SAEMMpressproduce aluminium and zinc pressure die-castings in cold chamber process with the possibility to introduce inserts for co-moulding.

Process Cycle
The mould filling flow and the casting solidification are steadily checked on all tools to be proper. This is possible thanks to continuously updated specific software, through which the analysis of the fluid-dynamic filling of the moulding-cluster can be made even on virtual thermic conditions. On demand, SAEMMpress can also provide structure control researches on virtual casting in FEM environment and rapid prototyping.

All production cycles and quality controls are carried out by skilled staff, employing a castings radiographic control lab.

The foundry planning is able to meet both small as well as big production batches and to guarantee in any case fast delivery terms, thanks to internal flexibility.

The pressure die-casting working areas are provided with machines from 180t up to 600t capacity and full equipped with:

  • Robots and automatic moulds lubricating systems
  • Automatic chargers for cast metal
  • Control units for mould thermoregulation
  • Gas and electrical holding and melting furnaces,

that, when necessary, permit as well the melting by the machine of small and big batches of special alloys.

The trimming, sandblasting, tumbling and deburring departments complete the covered area.
